Seth Leighton is an educational leader and author whose purpose is to empower, inspire, and challenge educators and students to become better citizens of the world.In 2012, Seth led the founding team in the creation of Envoys, a B-Corporation with the mission to support innovative teachers and schools to push the boundaries of possibility for global education. From the initial pilot program, Seth scaled the company to operate over 500 unique programs traveling with over 12,000 students and teachers around the world. With over 30 full-time employees and 200 contracted field staff, Envoys continues to work with schools to create innovative and authentic learning experiences that develop global competency skills and prepare youth for the world. Seth is the co-author of Culturally Responsive Conversations, published by Jossey-Bass in 2023. He holds advanced degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. His expertise lies in working across cultural, geographic, and temporal boundaries to deliver educational programming, both virtual and in-person, coordinating with diverse stakeholders to solve complex technical and adaptive challenges.
