I lead the Software Development team to deliver quality software solutions for the organization in a timely manner in partnership with Product and stakeholders.
I led the Product Team to plan and execute our product strategy, growing from a team-of-one to leading 3 Product Managers and 2 UX Designers. In 2023 I led a cross-functional team of senior leaders, contractors, software developers, product, and staff to implement a digital system for producing individual project reports for our Donors. This system decreased the time to create these reports, while increasing quality – ultimately allowing the organization to move from delivering one late report a year to each donor, to consistently delivering on-time reports every quarter to each donor. As the head of Product I maintained the overall Product strategy and roadmap, managed stakeholder relationships, and communicated our vision and goals across the organization. I also mentored, developed, and guided my team to develop stakeholder relationships and own their Product strategy & backlogs.I started this role as the only remaining Product Manager at the organization and had the opportunity to rebuild the team, hiring 2 Product Managers in the first 4 months. In 2023 I hired a third Product Manager, brought a UX designer onto the Product team, and added an additional UX designer on contract.

I managed three products, working closely with senior leaders to identify strategic priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives to better serve our donors, partners, and staff. The Field product provided Portfolio and Project data management for core organizational data, the Marketing product provided the Marketing team with tools to build interest and gather leads, while the Donor product improved the Donor Experience to drive retention and lift. In 2022 I led a team developing a Dashboard to inform donors about Progress and Impact data, focused on increasing donor engagement. In 2021 I led an initiative to create a Goal & Progress tracking module for Language Translation data, extracting and centralizing core business information from 900+ Excel Documents. This provided business-wide visibility into Project performance for the first time in almost 30 years. In 2017 I led the sunsetting of an existing, mature Portfolio and Project Management tool built on legacy architecture and the ideation, development and launch of a new industry specific application to replace this tool.

I acted as the Product Owner for a mature internal Portfolio & Project Management tool and worked closely with the software development team to implement and release solutions. I also had the chance to collaborate with leaders to transition the entire team into a Product focused Agile working environment.

I supported and administered internal HRMS, Payroll, and Project Management software. I also provided analysis and discovery for technology needs with the HR, Administration, and Field domains. Most significantly I collaborated with HR leaders to select and transition from a self-hosted Payroll system to a SaaS HRMS & Payroll system. This reduced monthly payroll processing time by 48 staff hours while eliminating errors.

I oversaw a customer and technical support team in a high volume call center for Hunting & Fishing licensing - acting as a point of escalation, managing staff, and training new employees. When a newly released licensing system deployed in stores across 4 states failed to work correctly, I managed the troubleshooting and incident management. My team was able to resolve the issue within the month, including the delivery of new hardware too many locations, ultimately avoiding millions in fees for breached Service Level Agreements.
Dallas/Fort Worth Area
I provided technical support, customer support, and troubleshooting for 6 different Hunting and Fishing licensing systems in 10 different states. I quickly became an expert in the systems, training incoming employees on the products, troubleshooting paths, and customer service interactions.Additionally I worked closely with the development team and account managers to resolve issues that came up with new software and hardware.

I had the opportunity to assist in opening a new location from vision to launch; helping to design and build the new location, develop the menu, and create Standard Operating Procedures. Once the location opened I managed the day-to-day operations including staffing, inventory, and training.

I maintained a friendly customer-centric environment, fulfilled orders, and managed other employees on shift - directing the workflow to ensure productivity and efficiency. Working as a Shift Lead and Barista sparked my love for specialty coffee and made me realize coffee wasn't just for all-nighters and early mornings.
Fort Worth, Texas, United States
At World Relief I worked in the Refugee Resettlement office helping caseworkers prepare for the arrival of new clients and assisting clients in their first 90 days in the US. I had the opportunity to help clients from five different countries settle into their new homes, make and attend required appointments for residency, submit official paperwork, and maintain client documents on behalf of caseworkers. My summer at World Relief was a transformative experience serving cross-culturally with people from diverse backgrounds who were forced to leave their home country and become refugees. I’m proud of the opportunity I had to help some of them settle down and start a new life in Texas.
