First POC for my team for any technical issue, providing direction for appropriate escalation if necessary, or resolving the issue directly if applicable. Provide research, documentation and deployment of new processes and procedures affecting datacenter operations. Including technical research and development that enabled continuing innovation within the datacenter infrastructure. Developed and maintained procedural documentation relating to inter-departmental processes, as well as broader procedures for best practices of deployment to both physical hardware and virtual environments. Monitored and maintained security components of infrastructure, as well as mitigated exposure points and adjusted security policies to reduce risk factors and external exposure points. Performed daily system monitoring, including verification of the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewed system and application logs, as well as verified completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.Utilized VMWare ESXi, along with copper and fibre backed storage area networks and other systems to maintain and provide our ASP (SaaS) High Availability services to clients. Maintained templated versions of eRAD proprietary software for deployment across a multi-location datacenter infrastructure.Collaborated with client’s technical resources directly to establish IPSEC connections back to our datacenters across multiple HA firewall deployments for remote use of hosted virtual machines.

Provided support across a multitude of systems. Working directly with internal software development team and engineering team to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve linux based PACS systems and Windows based RIS systems in both physical and virtual environments. Responsible for maintaining and diagnosing network systems relating to PACS and RIS including the end user device. Troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining PACS viewer and RIS portal on the end device as well as installing third party applications such as speech recognition software.

Troubleshot, maintained and repaired broadband networking equipment from trunk line to the end device, this includes coaxial cable, twisted pair and the end device itself. Digital converter boxes, broadband modems, and VOIP/MTA devices. Responsible for not only residential, but corporate/business accounts as well, and setup of networking components including switches, routers, firewall's and other networked devices. Duties also included hands on training of new personnel, making sure they meet the time and quality standards setup by management.
