Youth Bridge Trust is an innovative grant-making entity focused on funding innovative youth development organizations and programs on the continent that seek to develop Africa's greatest resource -which is found in its youth. With the assistance of the Ford Foundation, the Trust took over the Fit for Life, Fit for Work with a total investment of more than US$4.1 million.With further commitment from the Ford Foundation, the Trust aims to support innovative and cost-effective solutions to the multiple challenges facing young people in Africa today.The Trust currently works within South Africa and Namibia and to date through its program has impacted over 5000 young of which 2000 have acquired jobs, 1500 have furthered their education and over 150 have started businesses. The Trust intends to impact 100,000 young people by 2030 by expanding the regional and continental footprint in collaboration and partnership with other stakeholders with an interest in empowering youth for the future of work.

I served as the is also the co-host and brand ambassador of The Mentorship Challenge with Marc Weiner former Chairman of Redefine properties. The show is currently being broadcast on ENCA and ETV and has a viewership of over 2 million people. The Mentorship Challenge was first created by Redefine Properties as an innovative way to make a real difference in people’s lives, and to demonstrate Redefine’s commitment to South Africa and its future leaders. Mentorship serves as a guiding hand out of poverty to success – securing a better and stronger future for all South Africans. This initiative offers us an opportunity to inspire fellow corporates to join the mentorship movement and give back to communities in a meaningful and sustainable way.The Mentorship Challenge allows ordinary South Africans to connect with legendary leaders in every possible field – from artists to architects, techpreneurs to teachers, from singers to stockbrokers to scientists, fashionistas to philanthropists, from property developers to publicists and professional athletes. The Mamelodi Initiative is a not-for-profit organization focused on improving the lives of residents in Mamelodi, South Africa. Through providing resources to enable community engagement and education, the Mamelodi Initiative strives to empower members of the community so that the community can make the changes it wants to see. To date we have impacted over 7,000 youth through our programming.
