• Created a project-based woodshop training program introducing new makerspace members to workshop power tools including the table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, wood lathe, router, et al. This included writing student handouts, instructor guides, lesson plans, and sample projects.• Collaborated with subject matter experts to re-write training documents for other workshop training, including MIG / TIG welding, Manual machining, CNC machining, Industrial Sewing, and Metal Fabrication. This included re-writing or updating student handouts, instructor guides, and project outlines.• Designed a semester long "Makerspace Expedition" program for Summit Shasta charter school that introduced 20+ students to sewing fundamentals, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, and digital design.• Designed a series of 1-day STEAM exposure programs for TAY (transitional age youth) introducing them to woodworking, laser cutting, and digital design through project-based learning creating a cutting board, dovetail toolbox, or vinyl-cut and heat-press T-shirt with their own design created in Adobe Illustrator.• Created a train-the-trainer program for Samsara's internal company workshop. This involved training 2 of the company employees in how to train other employees on their equipment by demonstrating and practicing adult learning principles. I collaborated with them to create a 3 session training program to introduce employees to their workshop tools, manual mill, and laser cutter.• Purchased supplies for all educational programs, including buying and managing inventory of materials, cutting tools, spare consumable machine parts, and class supplies.• Scheduled a list of 12+ volunteer instructors to cover basic training on power tools throughout the workshop, including making monthly training session schedules and coordinating special training sessions.

I created Make Stuff Studios as a way to market my own fabrication services. Together with my brother we blend traditional woodworking and advanced manufacturing tools to create bespoke projects for clients. While I have worked on many custom projects some notable work includes.• Custom identity signs made for a variety of Bay Area businesses including The Root midwives, Dirty Water bar and grill, Les Gourmands French bakery, The Edwardian Ball 2017, TedX 2016, Total Health Dental Care, BBDO and more.• Custom wooden product displays for Prophet cannabis, Doughp cookie dough, Sheek cosmetics, among others.• Prototyping and custom pieces commissioned by artist Lucky Rapp, Athelas, Fractal Flora, Industrious Light, and more.

• Developed several project-based workshops for beginning woodworkers to develop their skills, including an end-grain cutting board workshop, scroll saw workshop, and furniture joint survey workshop introducing trainees to dovetails, lap joints, and mortise and tenon construction.• Followed an established curriculum training new workshop members to safely use power tools and equipment. This included demonstrating safe and effective use then observing and evaluating their first practical use of the machines.• Supervised trainees operating shop equipment and provide evaluations of their safety and competence in the wood shop.

• Taught classes of 15 - 2 students, grades 5 - 10, as part of an after-school English training program. This involved following a professionally designed curriculum for conversation and test-prep skills.• Designed a summer program focusing on helping intermediate learners read and comprehend a classic piece of American literature - John Steinbeck's "The Pearl. This included developing discussion prompts, group activities, and student re-enactments. Also writing a lesson plan for these activities following Chungdahm company guidelines.• Evaluated student's progress on a weekly and quarterly basis, grading their performance on regular assignments and writing personalized reports to their parents.

• Organized electronic database of research documents related to the current project, a survey of Alameda-Contra Costa transit riders.• Summarized research documents into literature review of best practices for surveying transit riders and correcting for shortcomings in data on minority groups. Wrote a best-practices report based on this research.• Performed data analysis on public survey data using Excel and statistical software (SPSS and STATA) under the supervision of senior research staff
