At the age of 18 I took the oath to protect and serve our great country, Living up to the Army Values is where my foundation was built. Honor is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity and personal courage in everything I do. With these values I was able to have a successful career in the Army National Guard as a Automated Logistical Specialist. My first unit was in Merced, CA where I learned how to organize and inventory items in a warehouse. During this time I had the chance to drive multiple vehicles that the Army provides.My second unit was in Fresno, CA where I was able to carry out administrative duties and training Soldiers on how to drive Army vehicles safely. This helped me become confident in speaking in front of an audience of my peers. Later on I would be promoted to the ranks of the Non Commissioned Officer (Sergeant) where I lead and developed multiple Soldiers who also wanted to become leaders. I've earned multiple Awards and Certificates from every command team that I have worked under earning the respect of officers in my units. I always and continue to carry these values at any career and go to.

Working as a Management Trainee I learned how to manage my time and market myself to local branches around the area as well as body shops and dealerships around the area. The start of this career really helped build my professional and my confidence in leading a team. As an Assistant Manager I was able to develop multiple employees that worked with me and help them accomplish goals and quotas each month. This was my first job in high school where I learned the value of working hard and being rewarded for it. In a commission plus hourly paying job I was able to develop my selling skills and create a customer basis that would always come to me by name basis if they ever needed help.
