About Seth Perry

My favorite book is Moneyball by Michael Lewis. The book tells the story of how Billy Beane (General Manager of the Oakland Athletics) used creative thinking and analytics to field a competitive baseball team, despite its disadvantaged revenue situation. I love the way the book brings to light the power of challenging the status quo and in particular, doing so with analytics.Many of the principles discussed in Moneyball can be applied in the business world. By using analytical, evidence-based strategies, companies can maximize revenue, drive out cost, and reach new levels of success. Solving business problems using these strategies is what I am passionate about and is what I bring to the table.
