Open Architects (OA) is a Massachusetts-based organization that supports school districts and education non-profits with financial and data analytical expertise, coupled with systems redesign and change management. Based on the founder’s experience in Massachusetts urban school districts, OA recognizes the substantial challenges facing education leaders and partners with them to work through complex problems with support customized to the local context. We believe that effective financial and operational systems are necessary to create excellent schools for our kids. We provide support and services that enable educational leaders to achieve their vision. We get our hands dirty in the financial, data, and operational details to create the best customized solutions for districts, while serving as an engine of continuous improvement. In our fourth year of operations, OA provides an open, collaborative team environment, where diverse perspectives and backgrounds are deeply valued. We are driven by a deep sense of ownership and service and are passionate to get into the trenches to solve our clients’ problems. We are also a learning organization that embraces the messiness of the work and has fun along the way. We take our work seriously but not ourselves.
