Represents the interests of the general public by managing casework correspondence, constituent relations, and the collaboration of federal, local and state government agenciesEngages with the community in many forms including the facilitation of public meetings, events, application of social media campaigns and direct outreachActs as a direct extension of elected officials by participating on a number of boards and commissions tasked with improving the quality of life for local residents through the provision of services and infrastructure projects

Evaluating economic, statistical and demographic data to analyze best means to attract, retain or expand businesses and/or industries within the County of Fresno.Assisting in creating and implementing specific development concepts in support of established goals; and identifying economic development related funding from federal, state, local and private foundation sourcesImplementing business development activities and meeting and conferring with business officials to assist in solving problems and coordinating logistics (e.g. financial solutions, site selection, availability of utilities, transportation, real estate, etc.) to facilitate location and/or expansion of business in the County of Fresno and its fifteen Cities.Responding to new business inquiries, maintaining an inventory of available retail/industrial/commercial sites/buildings and aggressively marketing suitable sites to such business prospects.Promoting job development and civic improvements within the community.Coordinating commercial, industrial, or office development projects through various regulatory processes while serving as a single point of contact between the developers and all City Departments.

Implementation of event staff activities across various university platforms; specifically in the operations surrounding media broadcastingTraining and development of staff to adhere to policies and safety procedures as outlined by organizational standardsTechnical support and provision of commentary across various events on the university's livestream services
