I recently have been volunteering a couple afternoons a week to gain experience and assist my family with their business. I help by keeping up with check book, maintained the files and records from transactions and orders, handling the financial reports, accounts payable, accounts receivable, handling the invoices, billing business that have ordered products or services, business communication between our customers, business partners, accountant and shadowing my step-father while he makes sales. *Tools used to be successful: Being flexible for customers and the company’s needs, maintaining the companies professional experience, watching and learning everything I can so I can translate it to the job market, and paying close attention to all processes and transactions.

As the lead R&D Tech, I was responsible for taking formulas created by our companies engineers and turning them into fully functioning products to be sold to steel, concrete, glass and coke companies. After creating the new product I ran tests to check strength, porosity, and what temperatures the product could withstand. Soon after all the tests were complete I would chart and analyze the results to decide if the product needed to be adjusted. Once everything with the product was in order, I relayed my findings to my manager, engineers, salespeople, and office executives.
