I implemented lens control software using visual studio vb.net windows presentation forms (WPF, XAML). This new interface provides automatic and manual operation of the lens. All new motorized lenses will work with this new GUI, as a standard going forward. The GIU also provides diagnostic tools for electrical, and mechanical performance.In addition, I made significant improvements and upgrades to the company's optical test bench software (LabVIEW) to add additional capabilities including enhanced MTF, EE and NUC measurements. Then added a new front interface and implemented a new frame grabber to significantly improve the process of changing cameras on the test bench.Used Custom electronics boards designed in house, to achieve motor control using software (C/C++), and serial communication protocols such as SPI/I2C for dc/stepper motor control with linear and rotary encoders. Familiar with AVR/ARM cores.Diagnose and verify the assembly and operation of various custom IR lenses for military and commercial use.
