Seth Romans has spent the last 25 years in private equity, where he has advised, executed, owned and operated companies in both the US and abroad in industries ranging from heavy manufacturing to beverage and security. Seth currently serves as CEO of National Protective Systems, a best-in-class personal panic button to speed up police response to campus emergencies. Seth is also a Partner in Pigeon Cove Ferments in Gloucester, MA and Squish Juice Company in London, England. Seth formed SJR Equity to acquire equity positions in mission-driven companies, provide board level expertise and executive coaching. Prior to forming SJR Equity, Seth spent his previous eight years at Platinum Equity, where he led over $1 billion of complex acquisitions, divestitures and financing transactions , living in Paris between 2005 and 2008. While at Platinum, Seth held multiple board positions in both the US and Europe. Seth started his career at KPMG where he worked as a Director in the Transaction Services Group serving private equity and corporate clients. Seth earned his CPA qualification while part of the Assurance Group at KPMG.
