Conducted legal research and prepared comprehensive bench memoranda on a variety of legal topics including personal injury and mortgage foreclosure.Observed oral arguments and off-the-record meetings between Justice Schack and attorneys in chambers.

Researched complex criminal law issues including the legality of criminal informants and self-incrimination, and drafted motions and briefs based on theseissues. Participated in various aspects of discovery and conducted negotiations with certain defense attorneys regarding potential plea bargains. Observednumerous trials involving misdemeanors, minor felonies, to media-profiled homicides.
