I was selected and protected Ambassador Matt Tueller conducting Mobile PSD operations in the Highest Threat Environments in the Middle-East: Baghdad, Iraq. I also chose to attend the QRF training so was duel certified and was loaned out to fill in on the Mobile Quick Reaction Force teams as well. Prior to attending PSD School and deploying, I was hired as the regional recruiter for Triple Canopy covering the SE United States recruiting my future team-mates. I had full control of my recruiting events and established them in Georgia, Florida, and as far as Seattle, WA. I went where the Special Operations veterans were, as they were my target audience.

Responsibilities included responding to 911 emergency calls as well as self-generated activities (such as traffic enforcement, motorist assists, and traffic/warrant arrests). I was daily required to write concise and thorough police reports, averaging approx. 4 per day. These reports helped improve my typing speed and accuracy. I also interacted daily with many people of differing backgrounds and ethnicity involving many different issues. I also assisted citizens in giving directions, helping lost children get home, and many other activities which helped me improve my personal communication skills. I wrote criminal investigation reports, simple information reports, and accident reports with no assistance from my supervisor(s) other than review before submittal. I often had to remember all the details from the scene, witness statements, and vehicle positions, for several hours while taking other calls. Often times, depending on emergency call volume & officers available, I had to write the reports the next day. I was also to remember each traffic citation and all written reports. Often times I have been called to testify in court many months or even a couple of years after the incident. My testifying experiences also helped me to be a more confident public speaker. I commonly made determinations of crimes committed, while at the scene, and conducted on-site arrests without a warrant. I was the senior officer on evening shift (the busiest shift, 1600-0100 hours) during the weekends.
