This simple mantra, which has guided me since the 5th grade, has led to the creation of amazing projects and innovations as a software and data engineer.Over the past two decades, I have collaborated with an array of start-ups, non-profits, and entities in the financial, energy, military, and government sectors, developing IT systems, platforms, websites, and various technical tools.But my entrepreneurial journey really started with selling Christmas Trees with my Dad in high school.He taught me the grit and determination small businesses need to survive and thrive. He was a talented salesman and business owner, but when he passed a few years ago, he wasn't able to pass anything on to his family. He spent his energy building the company, and not protecting it. Seeing that play out, was sad. But now that I have a family and son of my own my focus shifted."I like to make things." became "Make things that last."
