My academic journey at James Cook University, with a double major in anthropology and archaeology, has provided me with a deep appreciation for cultural artifacts and heritage preservation. I was fortunate enough to participate in three New Colombo Mobility Plans; working with universities like Walailak University in Thailand. The NCPs have honed my skills in cross-cultural communication and teamwork. This experience has been instrumental in developing my ability to engage with diverse communities and foster meaningful connections. The opportunity of the NCP has grown into me being the New Colombo Plan 2025 representative of James Cook Unversity.In addition to my academic background, I have practical experience working in cultural and tourism settings. My roles in various tourism hubs and rural communities have sharpened my customer service skills and my ability to adapt to new environments. These roles have also allowed me to develop strong organisational skills and attention to detail, which are crucial for supporting exhibition installations, collection processes, and public program delivery.
