I recently completed my PhD at the University of Connecticut under the mentorship of Dr. Steven L. Suib. My research specialized in the field of ceramics and CMCs encompassing both polymer-derived and vapor deposition-derived materials. I have extensive experience in fabricating ceramics and conducting in-depth analyses of their atomic, microstructural, and surface characteristics. While drawing correlations to thermal, mechanical, and electrical behaviors.I am excited to bring my expertise to Free Form Fibers, where I will be leading and supporting research-based development of advanced ceramic fibers via laser-CVD (LCVD). These innovations are poised to impact various applications in the aerospace, mechanical, and electrical sectors.
