I grew up working in construction. My father owned a small remodel and repair business, and I had the opportunity to work for an electrician on the side during my college years. This is where I learned that I had a knack for troubleshooting electrical issues, and I continued to do electrical work on days that I didn’t have class.After receiving a BS in Marketing from UAB, I spent a few years working in sales at an automotive repair shop, and then service and sales at a dealership. Still, I found myself drawn to the electrical world, jumping at the chance to help any of my friends and family with any electrical needs that may arise. In 2014 I came to work for Gorrie Regan as a Technician and Project Manager. I loved doing electrical work again, and low voltage access control and video added a new challenge and learning curve to my electrical knowledge and skillset, but I missed working with the customers. I am now in a position where I get to use my knowledge of the industry, as well as my troubleshooting skills, to work with customers and provide solutions to all their security needs, whether it be video, access control, intrusion, or parking. Personally, I live about an hour outside of Birmingham with my wife and 2 sons. I am a part time, weekend musician, and I enjoy anything to do with the outdoors. What I enjoy most is spending time with my family and watching my boys grow and learn every day.
