I joined Sheergard Composite Solutions Inc. in July 2024 to help further the development of its sandwich radome line of products.Sheergard is an advanced-performance materials company that designs, manufactures, and markets flexible composite products for use in extreme environments and is the industry leader for air-supported radomes. To complement its leadership in the air-supported radome market, Sheergard has added rigid wall (sandwich) radome technologies to its product offerings.

Project Management• Develop and maintain schedules for contracts• Interface extensively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Accounting to ensure projects are on time• Review requirements against POs and quotations• Ensure budget is maintained for installation projects• Conduct briefings and technical interchange meetings with govt & commercial customers and subcontractors• Prepare and provide key metrics including delivery delays, risk assessment, milestone achievements to customers and managementBusiness Development & Marketing• Member of proposal team• Manage development of content, positioning, and design of product website, secure and maintain first page organic results for key search terms• Manage online marketing campaign resulting in an average of 5-15 RFQ/RFIs per month• Manage development of product catalogs, custom trade show booths, social media, press releases, print advertisements content creation Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing• Coordinate and schedule shipments to worldwide locations – significant amount of research and planning required for remote locations• Procure raw materials and off the shelf components & coordinated delivery to multiple manufacturing subcontractors• Maintain suppliers list, qualify new suppliers • Validate and verify purchased parts conform to specification and company quality standards• Manage suppliers and subcontractors for rated orders, quality assurance, and delivery performanceField Supervisor• Installation supervisory role for over 40 projects both CONUS and OCONUS• Conduct site surveys to document current site plan for implementation of new shelter and radome systems• Conducted physical configuration audits to document as-built verification, condition, and documentation for more than 2000 USAF fielded assets located at more than 30 sites worldwide• Manage service subcontractors from RFI to project closeout• Develop installation procedures, O&M manuals for composites product line

I oversaw the development of a small business from two guys looking to make some extra money to the establishment of a very competitive operation capable of performing large commercial projects.This business opened my eyes to the amount of effort it takes to get a start-up operational and profitable. I have had the privileged of performing nearly every duty that a business person must perform to stay afloat from marketing and sales to payroll and maintenance.
