Responsibilities can be separated into four categories: Utilities, Network Engineering, Domain Control, and User support.User support responsibilities include troubleshooting employee computers, assisting with software support, and minor software training.Domain control includes active directory management, managing windows services such as DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Exchange, managing security from a centralized location, automated software deployment using WPKG in a Windows Environment, VMWare Datacenter management, legacy server virtualization, and organizing file hierarchies.Network Engineering responsibilities include programming Cisco routers and switches, managing a Ruckus Wireless network, managing VOIP phone systems using Shoretel, designing and implementing a network monitoring solution, web server management (ISS and Apache), SAN Management. Utility responsibilities include line locates, frequency leak detection, terminating and running coax and ethernet cable, DishTV Troubleshooting, and cable network balancing (with a Head End, digital and analog signal, functioning with QAM as opposed to LBand).All of these responsibilities have some sort of documentation process, whether it is just describing client problems and solutions or outlining a wiring map.

Lab Technician working with a Makerbot Replicator 2 and 2X, Uprint, and Uprint pro+ 3D Printers, Laser Scanners, Laser Engravers, CNC Mills, and a CNC Lathe. In addition to repairs, a Lab Technician works with assisting undergraduate students as they work with the equipment as well as graduate students and professors working on research.

Hardware and Software repair as a customer service representative for Ball State. Worked one on one with clients to resolve issues, generally troubleshooting Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks.

Worked with remote desktop technology to troubleshoot Windows XP machines at 13 branches. I studied under the Systems Administrator and helped troubleshoot network issues as they would arise. I dealt extensively in the Active Directory, managing user accounts and permissions. It was also my responsibility to do minor clerical work, such as filing paperwork for new employees and organizing and propagating policies to the various departments.
