Infantry (0311)/ Ground Sensor Specialist (8621) Maintained a safe and secure environment for fellow Marines and DoD personnel. Ensured all Marines adhered to USMC policies and procedures. Responsible for security, accountability, and issuance of millions of dollars of serialized sensors and government issued gear for 24 other Marines. Numerous courses and schools in detecting suspicious activity and behavioral characteristics. Certified to drive multiple types of vehicles and heavy equipment in the performance of assigned duties. Certification to handle and transfer hazardous and explosive materials; including the transfer of ammunition. Successful completion of the combat lifesaver emergency medical treatment curriculum. Worked with the Military Police and U.S. Border Parol maintaining surveillance systems with regular monitoring and adjustments. Section leader of twenty-four (24) other Marines. Gained eight (8) years of valuable experience dealing with stressful situations and learning deescalation techniques. Countless other courses and classes to enhance military proficiency, bearing, physical fitness, marksmanship, self-defense, team building, and overall aptitude. As inspector and instructor was responsible for administrative duties for 120 Marines including, but not limited to: pay, promotions, maintaining medical records, maintaining service records. As acting Supply Chief was responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing millions of dollars of gear including: electronics, weapons, clothing, consumables, and other general gear. In same capacity received multiple Naval Achievement Medal's for exemplary performance in billets above my pay grade.
