theaccentshopinc is a local business with a large range of houseware to choose from, ranging from home decorative pieces, tabletop glass and dinnerware, and rich fragrances in perfume and soap. Beginning with data entry, I have since moved on to conducting full inventory on the more difficult companies in addition to assisting with incoming and outgoing orders of new items. I was originally hired only for seasonal work around Christmas, but after my time there I was given a part-time position in Spring and a full-time position during Summer.

As an Intern at NCLC, I've had a variety of roles ranging from data entry, conducting client meetings to obtain financial information, led interviews to gather information for NCLC's blog posts, and drafting and revising blog posts. NCLC works with clients in the area to prevent foreclosure from occurring and help show clients what programs they may be eligible to receive aid from.
