Responsibilities: • Serve as primary responder for all Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructure related issues, inquiries and complaints from customer and/or partner. Including but not limited to identifying issue in real-time while working directly with customer to resolve technical issue and question by using phone, instant messaging, email or ticketing systems with the intent of resolving more than 85% of the issues. • Interact with internal/external customer on operational issue by providing a thorough update and analysis within specific Service Level Agreement (SLA). • Perform system troubleshooting and management such as: Live or On-Demand service for Flash Media Streaming (FMS), HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) and HTTP Dynamic Streaming (HDS), Log Analysis (Retrieval and Parsing Logs) and Advance Custom Reports (including customer real-time stats). • Troubleshoot customer/partner issues using Gomez (APM), Catchpoint, MTR, Traceroute and Keynote. • Retrieve, parse, and analysis of back-end and server error log for HTTP and Streaming servers.Skills Used:Scripting, Log processing, Critical Thinking, Task Prioritization, Team Collaboration.

Responsibilities: • Monitor Global Verizon DMS/EdgeCast Linux servers, applications, network devices and connections along with customer traffic using in-house monitoring tools such as: Servers View, Routing View (POP-to-POP routing and circuit alert dashboard), e-Graph (POP traffic overview), Centreon (front-end of Nagios), Kibana, SDI (DDoS monitoring system), Live Grids, and Customer Dashboard. • Perform network and performance troubleshooting by using Gomez (APM), Catchpoint, MTR, Traceroute.• Perform server troubleshooting by implementing different bash scripts and tools to: DRAC, purge server partitions, monitoring live and on-demand streams, stopping/starting/reloading frontend and backend services. • Coordinate with appropriate internal Operation/Development teams when necessary to resolve complex issues within specific Service Level Agreement (SLA). • Create, track, and manage trouble tickets using Service-Now ticketing system. Refine/Create documentation of systems/networks resolutions and procedures using Confluence software.
