If nonconforming parts are found I would create a record and provide all of my findings and why the part is nonconforming and present that to the Quality Engineer group. Inspect carbon fiber parts, painted parts, ESD sensitive components, wiring harnesses etc. Traveled to a vendor to do outsource inspections and train the vendor on how I was inspecting parts, past failures, and a path forward for conforming parts being delivered to Insitu. Spent 1 year as the quality control technician for a production line. Here I would do In-process and final inspections on module builds and aircraft builds. Perform safety of flight inspections, first article inspections, re-calibrate jigs as needed, create records for all nonconforming parts and provide all of my findings and justification to the engineer group. Worked directly with the product line engineer. Provided answers for production technicians if they had any questions or issues.

Hand sand fiberglass parts to create winglets. Select programs and run CNC machine to cut out holes on the winglets. Add body filler to fiberglass and sand smooth, wipe down and get them taped off for primer. Visually inspect all winglets after they have been sprayed with primer. Fix any pinholes or other blemishes before they went back for another round of primmer, or for paint. Visually inspect painted parts are conforming to customer drawings and federal standards for paint.
