IT Project Manager primarily assigned to large scale healthcare related expansion projects, including renovations and additions to existing facilities, replacement and relocation of existing hospitals, and greenfield hospitals.- Involved from SD through go-live.- Work on projects includes: Requirements gathering (HW & SW), equipment evaluation, budget creation, coordination between stakeholders and IT teams, coordination and management of IT tasks, purchasing, delivery and install coordination, resource management. - Coordination of integration and install efforts with co-managed systems such as: radiological imaging (MRI, CT, PACS), pharmacy (MDUs and order entry), nurse call (Hill-Rom, Responder 5), security (Johnson Controls, Lenel), point-of-sale (MMHayes), patient entertainment (GetWell), patient education (EMMI) and others.Non-expansion projects include: enterprise wide migration to new VOIP and voicemail platform, enterprise wide upgrade to nurse call system, coordination between infrastructure and application teams on enterprise EHR server platform migration, and server audit and decommissioning.
