Recently completed a 14-week full-stack coding bootcamp learning how to create dynamic web-based software systems using Java. Bootcamp provided 800+ hours of development education and application.Projects:Full-Stack Application - Record Collection Assistant:Collaborated with a team of bootcamp students to implement a full-stack, single page web application designed with Java, Vue.js, and a PostgreSQL database. The app consumes the Discogs API to allow for searching records and displaying album art and information. Users can add records to their collection, write custom notes and tags, post their collections publicly, search for records to add, and view other users’ collections.Card Game Web Application:Web app built using Vue.js 3 and single page application design. Consumes an open-source API with the axios library for the card data. The game logic is done through several Vue Components all interacting with Vuex to store the card data as you click and match the various cards. Card game CLI:Developed an CLI Java app that runs two different card games: Blackjack and Hearts. Integrated with ChatGPT's API to serve as the AI computer player's logic for the game Hearts. The software also utilizes a PostgreSQL database to log user high-scores. Using OOP principles, new card games can be easily integrated.Mock Money Transfer Application:Designed and implemented an application similar in functionality to Venmo utilizing Java, Spring Boot, JSON, PostgreSQL ,and RESTful design . The application manages a friends list, account balances, user security, and fund transfers using server controllers, an SQL database, and client services to manage the data.

Cooperated daily with co-directors to develop best-practice methods for creating healthy classroom culture and effective teaching practices, selected as Waco ISD's teacher of the month.Coordinated 3-4 events and travel opportunities per year involving 5+ organizations and over 200 students.Conceived systems to create smoother workflow processes for my director team, enabling program growth from 150 students to well over 250.Monitored student progress based on detailed weekly lesson plans and assessments.
