Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) is a non-political, non-military organization that provides for wellbeing of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), veterans and family members. Established in 1981 by a group of Holocaust survivors, FIDF is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation that operates 26 regional offices in the United States with headquarters in New York City. We are the single organization authorized to collect charitable donations on behalf of the IDF across the United States, as designated by Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, IDF Chief of the General Staff in March 2017, and by Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, IDF Chief of the General Staff in February 2019 and April 2021.The Israeli government is responsible for training IDF soldiers and providing them with the necessary tools for their service. FIDF is committed to providing these soldiers with love, support, and care to ease the burden they carry on behalf of the Jewish community worldwide.FIDF has consistently received the highest ratings for accountability and transparency from two of the leading independent charity evaluators: Charity Navigator and Charity Watch. FIDF received the highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the 11th year in a row now—a feat accomplished by only 2% of charities in America, and Charity Watch has bestowed FIDF with their “Top-Rated” seal.Their job is to look after Israel. Served as the Atlanta & Southern States Area Director for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Planned and executed all grassroots, political, fundraising and educational activities regarding the importance of the U.S. – Israel relationship. Implemented all activities associated with achieving annual fundraising goals and annual political goals. Cultivated, recruited and educated new members, donors and community leaders. 70% increase in fundraising • 65% increase in Club Level donations ($1,500+) • 50% increase in major donors ($100,000+) • Increased attendance at AIPAC Atlanta annual community fundraising event from 450 in 2010 to over 1,200 in 2013 • Established new Leadership Councils in 12 divisions (cities) throughout the Southeast Region.

Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel is a non-profit organization, dedicated to enriching the lives of youths in the United States and Israel through a variety of athletic, cultural and educational programs. I serve as National Vice-President, utilizing my leadership, administrative and communications skills to assist in the advancement of this non-profit organization. This involves traveling to bi-annual organizational meetings to oversee the operational activities of Maccabi USA. This includes, but is not limited to; fundraising, coordination of fundraising events, recruitment of new membership, endowment allocations, marketing and public relation strategies as well as maintaining the overall mission of Maccabi USA and its current and future activities in the United States, Israel and the Diaspora. Negotiate contracts for professional athletes, for the purpose of securing organization’s official spokespersons, appearance fees for international events and all logistics regarding athlete’s participation at events and fundraisers. Maccabi USA governs the United States’ involvement for the World Maccabiah Games which is currently the 3rd largest international competition in the World, with overall participation exceeding 8,000 athletes and coaches, from 64 different countries. The International Sports Committee is a subcommittee of the International Maccabiah Committee and Maccabi World Union. The ISC determines which sports will comprise each World Maccabiah Games – held once every four year, following the Olympic year. The ISC writes and modifies all the Maccabiah Sports Regulations while trying to stay current with all international federation regulations, work with all of the Israeli national sports federations in the sports of the World Maccabiah Games, develop systems and relationships to implement the regulations and run all of the sports competitions during the Games, select venues, referees and liaise with other committees like accommodations for athletes. In addition, I am charged with recruiting elite athletes for participation in the World Maccabiah Games, this includes negotiating contracts, appearance fees and all logistics regarding athlete’s participation at the World Maccabiah Games. Successfully led a nationally-ranked swimming program that met or exceeded all goals. This included fundraising of approximately $13.8M in Athletic Scholarship Endowments, established a new alumni relations element to develop new business/fundraising opportunities. Oversaw Georgia Tech Athletic Association’s aspects of fundraising ($5M) & construction for the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center – part of a $43M project for the Campus Recreation Center (Olympic Aquatic Center). Transitioned the men’s team from last place within the ACC to as high as 2nd place, established a new women’s swimming & diving team in 2001, produced four Olympians for 2004 Olympic, six NCAA All-Americans, five ACC Champions, 24 All-ACC Conference Honorees, 72 Athletes on the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll, 15 Athletes on the CSCAA Academic All-American, one Student-Athlete named to Verizon Academic All-American Team, one Student-Athlete awarded the ACC James-Weaver-Corrigan Post Graduate Scholarship and the NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship.

Established Seth Baron Enterprises, to develop and conduct educational camps for those youths that are interested in swimming. Corporation was established to provide a foundation of learning for athletes under the age of 18. Responsible for all aspects of the corporation, including new business development, advertising and marketing as well as all financial responsibilities for the growth and success of the organization.

Coach - Alumni Relationship & DevelopmentEstablished strong professional attributes as a leader, detailed-oriented individual and strong communicator, which allowed me to move into a head coaching position at Georgia Tech.My daily duties included, but were not limited to: maintaining team budget, travel arrangements, recruiting and alumni relations. I was one of only two coaches that was appointed as a member of the USC Wellness Committee; overseeing the alcohol, drug & health education for our Student-Athletes.

Includes graduate studies at Auburn University in Communications & Public Relations. Worked directly with Compliance Director to maintain reports and updated NCAA regulations. Worked extensively with Athletic Association’s Alumni Relation to foster donor relationships for the purpose of expanding donor base and alumni donations for Olympic Sports.

I was charged with the development and execution of public relations and marketing strategies for a series of clients representing various legislative issues presented on Capitol Hill. Clients ranged from AFL-CIO labor unions, Real Estate and Banking entities to Telecommunications corporations. This included, but was not limited to, new business development, designing marketing and public relations agendas for the support or defeat of legislative issues, which included lobbying efforts, media campaigns and op-ed articles for print media. This included the coordination and execution of large fundraising events, board of director meetings and annual conventions for selected clients.

Co-founded Baron & Woodlief Advertising/Public Relations for the purpose of providing sound marketing, public relations and advertising programs for our clients. This included, but was not limited to, new business development, purchasing of advertising space, including the design, production and sales of all media (print, radio and TV), maintaining corporate relationships/sponsorships for clients, designing and implementing positive public relation campaigns, coordinating promotional events as well as other duties requested by our clients.
