Completed disability advocacy and law pathway program on July 2023. Continues to serve on the Diversity Equity Inclusion and Access Advisory Committee, as one of the two reps of the 2022-23 cohort of Coelho Law Fellows

• Blogged about laws and policies’ impact on transgender lives, by putting a face on issues with clients’ lived experiences• Wrote three newsletters and a press release on progress of proposed bills throughout state legislative session• Researched grants and drafted proposals to help fund pro bono legal services for low-income LGBTQ+ Marylanders

• Acted as the face of the brand and promoted it at MOM’s Organic Market, Wegmans and Streets Market & Café locations in DC, MD and VA via monthly sampling demonstrations• Boosted sales by engaging with shoppers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions

• Started small business with $1,500 loan, crowd-sourced for additional funds; raised revenues to $34,000 in third year• Served as public relations/ marketing/ branding/ culinary expert, utilizing 12 years of diverse, prior experiences, to earn 12+ rave reviews by food writers and wellness bloggers• Involved in daily operation of locally-sourced vegan café awarded “Gold Plate” designation by Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurants; Planned clients’ weekly meals to meet dietary needs; Hosted monthly brunches and quarterly dinners

• Collaborated with Food Chain Workers Alliance for meetings with Senator Tom Harkins’ senior counsel and Congressman Robert Andrews’ office to support proposed bills on tipped wage increases and paid family leave• Organized two fundraising events and met with Hill-Snowdon Foundation, securing funds that furthered ROC’s goals• Participated in protest in front of a Giant Foods store against supermarket chain’s refusal to sign Fair Food agreement with Coalition of Immokalee Workers and against farm worker exploitation• Took part in 3-day ROC United national convening covering workplace justice campaign strategies applied by affiliates in different cities, training on organizing workers, seminar on racial discrimination; Marched with the US Social Forum in Detroit, Michigan
