I lead Tecton's Platforms organization, which includes Developer Infrastructure (Local Development, Build Systems, Test Infrastructure), DevOps (Cloud Infrastructure, SRE) , and Core Platforms (cross-cutting Product Building Blocks).Previously: Principal Software Engineer, Technical Design Lead, and Engineering Manager at Toast. I collaborated across organizational boundaries to define the technical strategy and high-level software architecture for my organization, and then led a team of talented engineers to execute on it - providing guidance, mentorship, design and code reviews, and pair programming to engineers from junior to principal level while also personally designing/refining/prototyping key technical components.Previously: I worked on a number of projects in the Search Serving stack at Google as an IC, Tech/Team Lead, and Manager, leading multiple teams responsible for frameworks and tools which enabled 1000+ engineers from across Google to contribute results to the Search Results Page and leverage our general-purpose, best-in-class webserver framework.
