I work on a variety of projects involving social network analysis (SNA) and network weaving; knowledge management, information architecture and online collaboration, including the Star Cafe (www.starcafe.org), a platform for supporting the AFSC's peace and social justice activists, staff and governance folks.
Inspired by TechSoup's NetSquared initiative, Philly NetSquared promotes using social web tools for social change, primarily by means of "Net Tuesday", a gathering on the first Tuesday of each month for nonprofits, techies, activists and others to network, learn and share.
I consult in areas of knowledge management, social networking, online product development, collaborative work and learning, and community building.
