I have worked in IT since 1993 and within the Information Security field for thirteen years; the last twelve as a manager of Security Engineers and a lead for security subject matter experts.  In my current position, I am solely responsible for the PCI compliance program for a Fortune 500 company.  This includes controls testing and Report on Compliance submission for a Tier 1 Merchant, Dell Inc.  As the Global PCI Program Manager, I define the PCI compliance assessment program globally for Dell.  I ensure the accurate testing and remediation process for all in scope PCI systems.  I manage the relationships for all PCI related interactions for Dell and act as the single point of contact for the corporation globally.Prior to my current position at Dell, I acted as the lead security consultant for a financial institution, Guaranty Bank in Austin Texas, a thirteen billion dollar Savings and Loan, later acquired by BBVA/Compass Bank.  I provided the information security guidance for all of IT in collaboration with the Risk and Project Management offices.  After leaving BBVA/Compass, I worked as an Information Security Consultant for AT&T by subcontracting through Spohn and Associates.  I managed customer engagements while performing security assessments and compliance consultation services.  While in Oregon I was responsible for the creation of a new Information Security division within an established consulting firm, InfoGroup Northwest.  My division went on to become an independent company and one of the leading Information Security consulting firms within the market sector.  As a majority partner at Info@Risk, I was responsible for the innovation and direction of the company. Following industry guidelines I produced accurate and relevant security assessments. During my tenure, I built a team composed of highly specialized individuals who worked well together, exceeding customer expectations.
