I am a Grand Challenge specialist. I work with CEOs to conceive, design, and execute big, bold change initiatives that address some of the toughest problems our world is facing. I have authored 4 books including the bestseller, Getting Change Right, plus Getting Innovation Right, Visionary Leadership, and Building Beehives. I began in 1995 helping Steve Denning introduce Knowledge Management at the World Bank. From there I went on to work with President Jim Wolfensohn and Director Gaddi Vasquez of the Peace Corps. Since that time, over 100 executives tasked with high-value change, innovation, and growth have relied upon me to help them achieve remarkable results that transform the world and grow their organizations.I have earned the designation of Thought-leader and Exemplar in Change Leadership by the Society for Advancement of Consulting®, and I was designated a Visionary by the Center for Association Leadership. Grand Challenges I have helped conceive, design, and launch include Healthy Nurse Healthy Nation, the Thriving Earth Exchange, CFP Center for Financial Planning, the Ultrasound Proficiency Grand Challenge, and the Mental Health Anti-Stigma Grand Challenge.
