I graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in June 2021 with a degree in emergency management and a minor in homeland security. Despite the global pandemic in my junior and senior year and the stressors of MMA's regiment of cadets, I graduated 3rd in my major with summa cum laude honors. Mass Maritime engaged me in hands-on learning, technology applications, research skills, and written skills in their emergency management program, and I frequently found myself role-playing a decision-maker, analyzing case studies, and using technology to solve critical problems. I currently work for Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC) as a Sr. Radiation Protection Technician and Chemistry Technician where I am constantly learning about the complex intricacies of the exciting nuclear industry. WEC is currently engaged in specialized contracting for several nuclear power plants across the country.
