In 2013, I led the legal team for the $26 Million acquisition of the Dale Service Corporation, a 20,000 customer wastewater system in Northern Virginia. This acquisition was American Water's largest in many years and we were able to sign, obtain regulatory approval, bring on twenty new colleagues, and close the deal in six months. In addition to M&A, I provided general corporate legal services including serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors; contract, risk, insurance coverage/management, and litigation management, and regulatory support. I also served as a member of the senior staff of Virginia American Water and provided legal and business guidance to the management team. -
