So I've had a lot of jobs. I've worked as a clubhouse manager for a minor league baseball team, managed a deli in Yellowstone National Park, worked the graveyard shift at a donut shop, and even remodeled Dr. Phil’s kitchen. But for the past 20 years, I've had the pleasure of calling the education industry home. During my time in higher ed I’ve been lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time on more than one occasion:- Pioneered Digital Marketing at UCLA: Built early social media strategies and became one of YouTube’s first EDU partners.- Drove Explosive Growth at SNHU: Produced 7 integrated marketing campaigns, including 34 TV commercials, helping scale enrollment from 7,000 to 70,000 students in just four years. - Founded Higher Ed Live: Launched the first live-streaming network for higher ed professionals, successfully scaling and exiting the startup in two years.- Led Marketing at Scale: As Vice Chancellor, built a 50+ person in-house agency team managing a $50M+ marketing budget, supporting a portfolio of universities, charter schools, nonprofits, and an online high school. Today, as Founder & CEO of Kanahoma, I lead a full-service education marketing agency specializing in paid media management, creative services, and web solutions that deliver results.
