Investigated and prosecuted, among other matters, health care fraud, child exploitation, identity fraud, computer crimes, mail and wire fraud, drug trafficking, firearms, and immigration offenses.

Conducted internal investigations for health care, financial services, Internet, and life sciences clients. Represented corporate clients in regulatory and criminal investigations and in parallel civil and administrative proceedings and negotiated favorable resolutions with federal prosecutors and regulators. Led pro bono efforts focused on Boston’s homeless population and was awarded the John Adams Pro Bono Publico Award by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Investigated claims of unlawful attacks on civilians and civilian property by the Croatian Army. Researched and drafted memoranda on international humanitarian law’s prohibition of attacks on civilians. Drafted Prosecution response to Commander of the Croatian Army’s motions.

Conducted factual investigation for criminal prosecution of insurance industry fraud. Researched and wrote legal memoranda on evidentiary issues in preparation for grand jury summation. Interviewed and prepared witnesses for grand jury testimony. Reviewed and analyzed documents and financial statements for submission as evidence to the grand jury.

Led multimillion dollar software sales contract negotiations and achieved $2 million in direct software sales. Handled all aspects of client relationships in assigned regional territory and determined sales strategy. Negotiated terms and drafted sales contracts. Designed product features of company’s human resources product.
