I started working a few months after I graduated high school at the local RaceTrac. I progressed there for a couple of years and was in the process of training for the Swing Manager position when I had to make a tough decision. My family owns the Mexican restaurant Tia’s Tacos in Daytona Beach, Florida and was in desperate need of a shop manager. I chose to leave my position at RaceTrac and help run the family business, eventually assisting in opening the Ormond Beach location and training the new staff. After a few years, we taught other employees how to fill in my position, so I was able to pursue other opportunities. As of 2024, I have been working in my current position as Regional Sales Professional for Cellular Sales, Verizon's #1 Premium Retailer, for eight years. I have held a couple of sub roles at this company as well including acting as an Online Google Ambassador where I helped manage multiple stores' online reputations, training and reporting on new recruits during my tenure as a Mentor, and currently I am the team’s Event Coordinator where I oversee budgets and submit expense reports as well as negotiate contracts for outside events.I love to travel and aspire to eventually find a career that allows me to do more of it. One of my other goals is to obtain experience in the advertising industry so that I can be better prepared to utilize my future degree from the University of Florida. Event management is another passion that I hold and would like to pursue further. I would also like to explore remote or hybrid work and am always open to learning about new opportunities for the future.
