I currently work as a Staff Registered Nurse and ECMO Specialist at Mayo Clinic Florida with a strong background in Cardiothoracic Transplant/Surgical intensive care. Having worked in multiple high acuity Magnet recognized ICUs I have consistently played a role in providing the highest level of care for the most critically ill patients utilizing evidence based practice to guide clinical decision making. While serving in this role I have also been responsible for providing new staff the bedside education of multiple mechanical circulatory support modalities such as Impella CP, Impella 5.5, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, HeartMate II, and HeartMate III. Most recently I have completed training to become an ECMO Specialist in order to broaden my skillset and am looking forward to continued growth in this new role.
