    I founded NetSPI in March, 2001 with the vision to build a leading application and network security testing company. NetSPI started in my home and grew organically from 1 to 70 nationwide employees before it raised equity funding from Sunstone Partners in March, 2017. Information security consulting was the initial start of the business which eventually focused exclusively on application and network security testing powered by our technology solution called CorrelatedVM or CVM. CVM was brought to the market as a stand-alone solution in 2013 and is used by large enterprises to manage their security vulnerabilities and testing processes.As the founder and CTO of NetSPI, I had many roles and responsibilities including consultant, developer, pentester, IT, finance, and at times even HR; I focused my last years on managing all aspects of our software development and related customer experiences. I personally worked with over 200 organizations to improve their information security programs, application security, network security, payment systems, and vulnerability management. Industries I worked for include financial services, healthcare, retail, technology, hospitality, education, government, and even nuclear power.
