About Seth Bond

Accomplished government professional with an 8+ year record managing and coordinating efforts of diverse teams ranging from 22 to 278 personnel, across multiple projects and countries, to ensure alignment of day-to-day operations with organizational goals. These roles have included leading small teams of missile system operators in South Korea, overseeing large-scale operations and logistics for strategic US assets in Japan, providing organizational leadership to hundreds of employees spread across a dozen organizations on multiple continents, and coordinating humanitarian assistance efforts amongst the US Government’s inter-agency and with international partners. Often this required long periods in remote and austere environments, with little to no external support, requiring an ability to work autonomously, in uncertainty, and under increased pressure, especially when making significant leadership decisions and adapting plans to changing circumstances.I recently chose to transition professionally to support organizations that more closely align with my values and long-term aspirations, specifically, organizations providing aid to those in need. Beyond my professional background, I have a deep passion for humanitarian aid and disaster relief, which started when I first volunteered to assist earthquake recovery operations in Haiti, after their large earthquake in 2010. Since then I have volunteered on disaster response projects around the world and worked as an advisor for USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, where I received a first-of-its-kind recognition for exceptional performance by the Director of USAID, Samantha Power.I look forward to building on my experience in support of organizations, and with like-minded individuals, who want to improve the world.
