With over 16 years of local government experience in land use and urban planning, I have been directly involved in land use, economic development, and community revitalization. Vital to the success of these endeavors is coordinating, encouraging, and promoting a prospective project is a critical component of economic activity. I have been involved in land development projects from concept to implementation. Whether a development of more than 500 residential units or a distribution center over 100,000 square feet, I have been directly involved in working with applicants to ensure successful approvals. I have demonstrated the skills and experience required to create and execute economic development and revitalization strategies, including strategies for blending the revitalization of a historic downtown with the citywide growth of new residential, business, and commercial development.
