Seth Schorr is a casino executive and owner, with a career spanning over 30 years in the gaming and hospitality industry. He is licensed in over 20 jurisdictions throughout the United States, and his extensive knowledge of gaming regulations is widely recognized.Schorr’s career in gaming began in 1991, when he worked at Bellagio, The Mirage, and Treasure Island in various capacities. He later joined Wynn Resorts, where he developed the international marketing department in Macau and the iGaming division in 2000. Schorr also developed the first online casino for Wynn Resorts during this time.In 2006, Schorr co-founded Fifth Street Gaming with his partner Jeffrey Fine. The company owns and operates five casinos, and the principals of Fifth Street Gaming also control the LEV Restaurant Group, which owns and manages more than 60 restaurants in the Las Vegas area and Southern California.Schorr is currently the CEO of Fifth Street Gaming and the Chairman of Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, which embodies his vision of creating a downtown Las Vegas hospitality experience. He also co-founded GMA Consulting, a modern gaming and hospitality consulting firm.Schorr is an avid supporter of innovation and has made significant contributions to the gaming landscape. In 2015, he introduced esports to the world of casino resorts and developed the first fully integrated esports program at The Downtown Grand. In 2017, he launched Commercial Streaming Solutions, which developed a patented media platform BettorView that brings sports betting content to casinos, bars, and stadiums throughout the country. Today, BettorView is a well-established US-facing Omni-Channel affiliate technology business. Schorr is also an Executive-in-Residence at UNLV and helped to create the university’s first Incubator to nurture new and innovative ideas.In 2021, Schorr founded JefeBetFSG Digital (d/b/a JefeBet), a multimedia and entertainment brand focused on engaging the Latino audience in the USA and in Latin America. In early 2023, Hotel Jefe was opened as a part of the Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino project which is the first casino in the United States created specifically for the Latino audience.Schorr is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a member of YPO. He sits on numerous public and private boards, including Skillz (NYSE:SKLZ), Nevada State Board of Museums & History, Nevada Gaming Control Board Esports Technical Advisory Committee, Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development Committee on Startups and Venture Capital, and the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance.
