Seth Ter Haar is a self-proclaimed "fisher of men," artist, woodworker, and curator based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His artwork uses technology, such as the laser cutter and CNC machine, to recreate historical furniture-building techniques. In doing this Ter Haar aims to rewrite and create conversations about masculinity, queerness, and religion. Ter Haar recently moved into his first studio after finishing his BFA at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Ter Haar also serves the community as a curator and arts manager.
