I have worked in the mapping/GIS industry for 7 years. Over time, I have developed a strong connection to various teams, a great understanding of typical policies and procedures that go into this type of work, and great rapport with management over the course of my tenure.I started out as a contractor for Google (through HCL), which provided the basis for my career. I became part of the Quality Control for my team, and helped take the lead on teaching, training and helping editors understand policy. Eventually, I was referred to open positions at Apple, through Mindlance. I applied and was accepted to join the team there and expand my skills. Within a short two months, I joined the QC team there and shared my knowledge and experience with new and tenured editors alike. Through these two contracts, I was able to hone my skills and develop my knowledge base. In October 2022, Global Logic took the Apple account, and I was accepted on as a Team Manager with the largest team on site. Now, I have been able to help guide the projects on a much higher level as well as help create, define and execute both projects and policy.
