As the editorial production director for Cosmopolitan, I managed a staff of three direct reports to see all pages through composition and post-production. I managed the overall workflow and production of several special projects a year, including hard-bound Cosmopolitan-branded books.

My primary responsibilities at Redbook included marrying copy and layouts, routing composed pages, and tracking design and edit changes. I worked closely with the pre-press house when needed, tracking art changes and color moves, trafficking digital art and prints.

As an editor for a number of shelter magazines for this small publishing company I wrote and edited several features a month, managed a roster of freelance writers, and oversaw the general production of titles from start to finish.
