My responsibilities are immersed in the details of the project. These responsibilities include: o Design of energy efficient heating, ventilation, and cooling systems with a constructible intention.o Oversee 2D and 3D interdisciplinary coordination process ensuring the engineering design intent is adhered to.o Manage construction schedule to meet and exceed tight design, equipment and material milestones.o Assist in maintaining or exceeding the project budget to maximize fiscal opportunity. o Manage large purchase orders and subcontracts to completion of work. o Administer documentation control, labor tracking, issuing RFIs and issuing submittals.

o Design modular hardware components for autonomous underwater vehicles with SolidWorkso Apply principles of buoyancy and hydrodynamics to meet stability requirementso Prototype designs with 3D printingo Create mechanical drawings for manufacturingo Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineerso Incorporate current technologies including thrusters and sensors into UUV modular system

o Train student leaders with communication skills for engaging new students. One of the primary goals of the leadership and transitions office is to develop upperclassmen with leadership abilities. I met weekly with 8 of these student leaders to push them toward growth in their academic, social, and spiritual lives. o Oversaw a classroom of new students to ease with college transition. After the first semester doing this I was advanced to manage student leaders who lead a classroom. Along with my intern team, we organizing weekly group meetings with all student leaders to discuss topics that they will be sharing with their class.o Directed and organized orientation for 1600 new students.o During training week for student leaders, I presented to 150 of them on building community by event planning with a PowerPoint presentation.

o Fabricated circuit board using printed circuit board software and milling machine.o Produced housing for the circuit with clear laser etched labels for power inputs, outputs, and access to calibration resistor. o Designed equipment for laser testing using CAD and 3-D printed the equipment for experiments.o Tested high energy lasers and their reflective properties off the sea surface. o Publication - "Fiber Optics Metrology and Applications of the Navy, Seth Wijnhamer, Thomas Caruthers II, and Subrata Sanyal, Navy Technical Report under preparation (2016).".
