Hi! I’m Setu (pronounced “Se-thu”), and I am the founder of Financial Doula, LLC, a small business dedicated to helping expecting parents navigate the financial and time management aspects of early parenthood.With 15 years of healthcare consulting and an MBA degree under my belt, I thought I had it all figured out. But then I became a mom and my world completely flipped. My previous understanding of time management no longer held true, and the clear view I had of my finances became clouded by inflation, a childcare crisis, and unforeseen circumstances.And I wasn’t alone in this journey - I heard many similar stories. Stories of unpaid maternity leave, insanely high childcare costs, surprise medical bills, the overwhelming mental load, and more!I knew there had to be a better way so I decided to take my learnings from my professional and personal experiences, combine them, and build Financial Doula.
