SOUK Farms is one of the largest growers and exporters of fresh horticultural produce from Rwanda. We export a variety of fruits and vegetables across Europe and the Middle East, while also serving consumers in our local market. Our main export crops are Avocados, Fine Beans, Chillies, Karela, Passion Fruit, Strawberries, Sugar Snaps, and Mangetout. We work with over 1,200 farmers across Rwanda, with farming operations spanning 300 hectares of land.

Lead Economist for Shell’s flagship LNG Asset in Qatar. I am responsible for managing the Economics team supporting the Asset, as well as coordinating all investment activities for the Asset. As a 'Technical Authority', I conduct formal Economics Assurance Reviews in accordance with Shell's assurance framework.

Lead Economist for a number of the Shell Group Flagship A&D activities (>US$1 bln in value). Economics Lead for Shell's US$3.8 bln divestment of its UK upstream asset (see link below).

As lead Economist for LNG new business development (NBD) opportunities in China, I project managed economic modelling activity for LNG opportunities in the region and carried out formal Economics Assurance Reviews for other Economists in the team. I also developed guidelines and manuals for the global LNG NBD Economics skillpool.

Construction of project cash flow models, taking into account of technical, contractual, and commercial assumptions for a variety of business opportunities (including downstream opportunities).Derivation of economic indicators and applying profitability hurdles to optimize the investment making process, whilst making use of tools such as Spider Plots, Tornado Diagrams, Waterfall Charts.Performed probabilistic distributions and Monte Carlo techniques as appropriate.Coordinate and participate in decision and opportunity framing sessions.Provide economic quantification for annual business plan.

Produced and maintained an optimised Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) for Central North Sea Assets.Developed several models and set up the appropriate systems and procedures to manage the IAP for assets I was custodian for. Analysed actual versus planned monthly activities and report against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Implemented a detailed Energy Management Study, and made proposals which when implemented could potentially save the gas plant over £7M/year in fuel cost alone. Coordinated the commissioning of a new hydrocarbon accounting system, which integrated accounting information from all offshore and onshore installations, hence increasing accounting efficiency.I identified an opportunity for more accurate quantification of routine venting, and initiated a study which resulted in a reduction in reported venting by 20%.

I performed a market evaluation, sized the required production line, and carried out a cost analysis for a water cooler company, with the aim of expanding the company’s market share in its industry.I worked as part of a team of 5 to oversee the detailed design of water bottling plant in Iceland, allowing Zenith to expand their global status in the water bottling industry. My specific tasks included; performing a Life Cycle Assessment of the product, procurement and analysis of equipment price quotations, and design of the storage warehouse.
