I am Seungho Jun, an AI developer who creates products. These products consist of three main elements: 1) Users, 2) Product value, and 3) The ability to understand the times.1) Performed the role of a planner based on a deep understanding of users: During a hackathon, I conducted interviews and surveys to create a service that users would actually use. As a result, after deployment, the service achieved 6,053 cumulative page views and 1,059 actual service uses over approximately 15 days.2) Demonstrated my capabilities as an AI developer by technically implementing product value: At Korea University's SW Academy, I worked on a task to identify speakers within text. Given the short timeframe to implement this feature, I read several foreign research papers and developed a Korean-based speaker extraction model. I significantly improved the accuracy of text-based speaker extraction from 60% to 81%, creating a meaningful model.3) Analyzed and understood the social and temporal context in which products exist: During my internship at XL8, I became curious about how localization translation could be improved for works from various regions across different OTT platforms. I particularly noticed that the translation of 'catty', a unit of measurement perceived differently in various regions, was often inaccurate. Starting from this observation, I identified various units of measurement and enhanced the model's ability to recognize them accurately.Within the company, I will plan and create user-centric products.
