About Seungil Lee
Hi! My name is 이승일, and I am Ph.D. student studying at the KAIST Graduate School of AI, advised by Prof. Jaegul Choo.My interest lies at the intersection of computer science and finance, with a specific focus on leveraging AI in quantitative trading. I believe that researchers should 1) create value by discovering new knowledge and 2) capture value by making the knowledge beneficial. While much of AI research focuses on the former, quantitative research aims to capture the value itself. This is why I am pursuing a career as a quantitative researcher. I believe in the potential of AI to revolutionize the finance industry, unlocking endless opportunities for innovation.
